Welcome Reception
May 19th, 19:00-21:00 @ Hotel ICON (Silverbox Ballroom)
The ICDE organizing committee invites you to join us for some relaxing time, meet colleagues and friends at Hotel ICON. Hotel ICON is just a 5-minute walk from PolyU. The welcome reception is set up in a standing format, offering a fantastic opportunity for you to network with fellow attendees and share your interests.
TCDE Reception

The Technical Committee on Data Engineering (TCDE), together with the organizing committee of ICDE 2024 invites you for drinks and some snacks and plenty of socializing in restaurant U Green. Nestled within the PolyU campus on the 5th floor of the Communal Building, U Green offers meticulously crafted dishes and a delightful dining atmosphere. Do not miss the opportunity to talk to their authors who will be waiting for you.
Banquet
May 21st, 18:40-22:30 @ Cruise (Hung Hom Pier红磡码头)
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s ICDE banquet will be held on a cruise! Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to savor delectable cuisine while enjoying a stunning nighttime tour of Hong Kong’s iconic skyline from the water. It’s sure to be an unforgettable experience!
We have arranged a shuttle bus from PolyU to Hung Hom Pier for your convenience. However, in the spirit of environmental protection and to avoid traffic congestion, we highly recommend walking to the pier, which takes approximately 25 minutes, or taking the MTR, which takes around 18 minutes. Both options offer a pleasant journey and allow you to enjoy the surroundings.
Please note that the boarding times are as follows:
first vessel: 18:40 to 18:50
second vessel: 19:10 to 19:20
Be sure to arrive on time so as not to miss out!

The ICDE organizing committee invites you to join us for the Farewell Dinner, where we will celebrate the resounding success of ICDE 2025! Let’s gather together, raise our glasses, and toast to a conference well done and the wonderful connections we’ve made.
It takes around 10 mins (both by walk and public transport) from PolyU to Choi Fook Royal Banquet (Auto Plaza).
